There are 12 Channels that work every day 24 hours a day to keep us alive.
Each of these channels is named after an organ and each is paired up with another organ channel one (Yin) and the other is (Yang).
For Example:
Lung Channel (Yin) is paired up with Large intestine channel (Yang)
Heart channel (Yin) is paired up with Small intestine channel (Yang)
Spleen channel (Yin) is paired up with Stomach channel (Yang)
Liver channel (Yin) is paired up with Gallbladder channel (Yang)
Kidney Channel (Yin) is paired up with Bladder channel (Yang)
Pericardium (Heart protector) (Yin) paired up with Tripel Burner (Yang)
Organs in the body which holds blood (Yin) Lung, Heart, Spleen, Liver and Kidneys are responsible for nourishing the body with all the nutrients that we get from our foods and drinks. It is nurturing and dense in nature.
Organs in the body which are hollow inside has more of an action nature (Yang) Large intestine, Small intestine, Stomach, Gallbladder, and Bladder.
By pairing up together the body is trying to maintain a Yin- Yang balance within itself.
Each organ has a peak energetic time and a down resting time, for example:
Lung : 3am-5am
Large intestine: 5am-7am
Stomach: 7am-9am
Spleen: 9am-11am
Heart: 11am-1pm
Small intestine: 1pm-3pm
Bladder: 3pm-5pm
Kidneys: 5pm- 7pm
Pericardium: 7pm-9pm
Triple Burner: 9pm-11pm
Gallbladder: 11pm-1am
Liver: 1am-3am
Every paired organs help each other in maintaining a healthy balanced life.
Also each organ contribute to the action and wellness of another organ and this is called interdependence as Yin can not exist without Yang. Example:
When the Lung takes its full clear breath in the morning (3am-5am) this will generate energy throughout the body, this breath will be received and anchored by the Kidneys. The Kidneys are considered the motor of the body where Yin and Yang originate, when the Kidney power ignite in the morning that will send a ripple effect all around the body to wake up and warm the body, this energy will be carried by the Triple Burner or Triple Heater to the 3 parts of the body upper, middle and the lower part.
The peak time to empty our bowels will be 5am-7am
The best time to eat breakfast will be 7am-9am a small portion to ignite the digestive fire in the stomach to start digestion.
The spleen will receive all the goodness from the food we eat and spread it out to our limbs feeding our muscles and sending a good portion of that energy to the chest (Gu Qi) where it will meet up with the energy from our breath (Heavenly Qi) and both (Gathering Qi) will manufacture a red substance in the Chest. (9am-11am)
The Heart is the Emperor (The Monarch) the Heart will put its stamp on this red substance and call it Blood. The Heart is child like wants to talk to everyone and communicate with everyone and socialise (11am-1pm)
Small intestine separate pure from the impure physically (food and drink) and emotionally (good from bad) 1pm-3pm
Bladder will excrete all impure fluids (Turbit fluids) from the system 3pm-5pm
While the kidneys retret for the day after a long day at work, go home and rest, nurture and be with the family 5pm-7pm
Pericardium is the Heart protector, parenting the Heart, setting boundaries and also separating good from bad, nurturing the Heart after a long day 7pm-9pm
Triple Heater is reserving the fire 9pm-11pm, time to rest and sleep, rejuvenate the body, keeping the parasympathetic nervus system working.
Gallbladder time to help the Liver in cleansing the Blood as its Bile will maintain a hormonal balance in the body 11pm-1am
| Lung | Yin | Heavenly Qi | 3am-5am |
| Large intestine | Yang | Turbit fluids | 5am-7am |
| Stomach | Yang | Thin fluids | 7am-9am |
| Spleen | Yin | Transport good nutrition | 9-11 |
| Heart | Yin | Blood | 11am-1pm |
| Small intestine | Yang | Thick fluids/ separation | 1pm-3pm |
| Bladder | Yang | Turbit fluids | 3pm-5pm |
| Kidneys | Yin | Origin of yin-yang in the body | 5pm-7pm |
| Pericardium | Yin | Heart protector | 7pm-9pm |
